Jessamine came to us from an extreme animal hoarding situation. She was rescued from squalor and given a second chance at life from a Tennessee dog rescue group. They patched up her physical wounds from years of neglect, but her emotional wounds would take years to heal. She has good days. She has bad days. She knows she is loved now but deep down she will never forget the abuse she endured. Please treat ALL animals kindly. If you have the ability to adopt there are over 3 million dogs annually in the US alone who need your help. Please consider donating time or money to a rescue organization. Almost all are understaffed, overwhelmed, and underfunded.
